We are looking for novel APIs/ingredients, or combinations, that have liver and comorbidity management efficacy.
Background.
The risk of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) significantly increases with underlying medical conditions/co-morbidities, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Nearly ~70% of diagnosed MAFLD patients simultaneously experience at least one comorbidity but treatment typically focuses on the comorbidity, not addressing liver issues.
To drive better health outcomes, by enhancing liver care support, we are seeking next generation/novel APIs which can help us tap into MAFLD management disease areas.
Key Success Criteria.
Must-have Requirements.
- APIs/ingredients, or combinations, with evidence of efficacy & safety in target populations.
- Convenient use, e.g. once daily intake.
- Flexible for FS/OTC.
Preferred Requirements.
- Novel strains/APIs with exclusivity.
- Proof of efficacy and safety human clinical data.
